Æbleskiver! (a-bla-ski-va) is lite like a waffle, slightly sweet, and shaped like a tennis ball.
The name means apple pancake and you may put apples in it if you wish; though not everyone does.
The most common way served is with raspberry jam ladled on top and dusted with powder sugar.
